Med mindre än hundra dagar kvar till julafton måste det åtminstone vara okej att så smått börja fundera över hur man ska lägga upp sin jul? Jag brukar alltid ha enorma förväntningar och planer, men oftast hinner tiden ikapp en och det slutar med att bara en bråkdel av det jag tänkt mig verkligen genomförs.
Därför har jag i år tagit ledigt under i stort sett hela december. Med start den 28:e november kommer jag vara ledig i 20 dagar fram till den 28:e december. Det ska sägas att jag inte haft någon semester på över två års tid och är just nu uppe i fem stycken olika jobb, vilket gör att jag onekligen lever ett väldigt hektiskt liv. Men jag trivs med det och har egentligen alltid gjort det. Även om det ofta kan bli för mycket så gillar jag att känna stressen och pressen, det motiverar mig och får mig att känna mig levande. Men i december ska jag faktiskt för en gångs skull dra ner på taktpinnen, åtminstone jobbmässigt. Naturligtvis kommer jag omsätta den lediga tiden i att göra så mycket juliga saker som det bara är möjligt.
Förra året missade jag i stort sett hela julen. Jobbade nästintill varje dag i både november och december och hade det samtidigt fruktansvärt tungt privat, vilket mer eller mindre tvingade mig att lägga julen åt sidan. Men det här året ska inget eller ingen få stoppa mig från att få en riktig drömjul!
Julskyltningen är ett måste för mig, och i år tänkte jag åka till Lund. Har varit på deras julskyltning två gånger förr och jag har fattat ett tycke för Lund. Staden är lagom stor och det brukar vara lagom med folk ute på gatorna, så det mesta pekar på att det blir en tur dit i slutet av november.
Julmarknader ska jag också hinna med. Finns några stycken runt om på Österlen och även om jag sällan köper någonting så är det högst stämningsfullt att strosa omkring i julmiljö, gärna medan regnet (eller ännu hellre snön) faller från skyn.
Julkonsert har jag bara varit på en gång i mitt liv och det var 2012 då jag for till Helsingborg för att se Julagalan. Även om det inte var särskilt juligt rådde det en god stämning bland publiken och när det väl sjöngs julsånger bubblade julkänslorna i kroppen nästan över. Ska försöka hålla utkik efter något liknande i år, måste testa någonting nytt känner jag.
Julklappar är alltid en svår nöt för mig. Tack och lov köper jag bara till min familj, men det blir bara svårare och svårare för varje år som går – speciellt då de sällan önskar sig någonting. Samtliga familjemedlemmar fyller dessutom år i slutet av november eller under december, så det är dubbelt upp med presenter som gäller. Men ska ta mig en ordentlig funderare, vill ju alltid komma med någonting som får mottagaren att le.
Juldagarna står precis som hos alla andra i centrum hos mig. Med start strax efter den 20:e december börjar julen på allvar och då gäller det att vara väl förberedd. Har redan nu planerat så smått inför dessa dagar, men mer ska komma. Måste dock försöka komma ihåg att slappna av lite mer och bara njuta, någonting jag sällan unnar mig själv.
Givetvis ska jag göra mer än vad jag listat, men vi är bara i mitten av september så än finns det gott om tid att tänka efter vad man absolut inte får missa. I början av 2016 kommer jag flytta utomlands, så detta kanske blir min sista jul på svensk mark på ett bra tag – eller någonsin? Tanken är dock att jag bara ska vara borta ett halvår, men man vet aldrig vad som händer här i livet. Någonting jag älskar.
